Where we met

Julie and Patrick Dwyer

Patrick Dwyer and Julie Walbridge were married on August 11, 2007 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church! In spring 2004, one of Julie's younger brothers saw an announcement in his church bulletin for a CSAC Trivia Night and e-mailed it to her. She went, had a great time, and joined the CSAC; Patrick was already a member. The two first met at a Happy Hour event at Llewellyn's in Webster Groves later that spring. But, Julie traveled a lot that summer and wasn't able to regularly attend events. At the CSAC Christmas Party at John Simmon's house, they had a chance to talk a little more (Julie thought Patrick "lit up the room when he entered"), but it wasn't until a January 2005 Happy Hour event at Pink Galleon that they finally "clicked" while playing pool all evening. At the end of the night, Patrick asked Julie for her phone number, and they agreed to attend a Superbowl Party at the Morelli's house the next weekend. After talking through the entire game, they had their first official date (at the St. Ferdinand Fish Fry) the next Friday! They were engaged December 30, 2006, and married in August 2007!
