Who is the Catholic Singles Alumni Club?

Per our Mission Statement, the CSAC is an organizations dedicated to creating and maintaining an environment for its members that is conductive to the development of productive Spiritual, social, cultural, and civic relationships in a Catholic setting. The CSAC of St. Louis is affiliated with the Catholic Alumni Clubs International (CACI), and is acknowledged by the Archdiocese of St. Louis. CSAC-St. Louis was established in May 1964.

How long have you been around?

The CSAC has been around since 1964.

How many members does the CSAC have?

As of February 2008, the CSAC has over 110 members, with about 15 temporary members out of that group.

What do you guys usually do?

We usually have two to three things going on a week. They breakdown into three categories, Spiritual (for instance; scripture study classes), Athletic (for instance; softball and volleyball leagues), and Social (for instance; Happy Hour on Friday, parties, and movie nights).

What is the difference between Full and Friend Membership?

The big difference is Full members can be Board Members and can vote in Board elections.

Certain parts of our website are password protected for Full Members and Friends of the CSAC. To get signed up with the CSAC, please visit our Membership page.

Are you affiliated with a church?

The CSAC is not affiliated with one particular church. The CSAC services the greater St. Louis area.

How much are dues?

Dues for Full and Friend Membership are $25 per year. We also have an option for a three month free trial.

What comes with the fee?

The Membership fee gets you twelve months of our newsletter of events. It also provides access to our password protected areas of our website. It also covers the expenses of many group paid for events. These events include private pizza buffets at local restaurants and bar-b-ques.

Is there a singles group that caters to individuals over 45?

Mike Kappel runs an over 45 group for the St. Louis area. He can be reached at 618-397-2320.
